What once started out as a small humble company in 1997 by Mr. Ruben Psek, Solo Foods has evolved from distributing canned vegetables, fruit and other grocery items to becoming a large scale food manufacturing facility. As the organisation has grown and diversified, Solo Foods has become a highly respected player in the South African retail and wholesale food market.
The company is currently under the Management and Directorship of Heinrich and Carli Gildenhuys. The dynamic leadership and marketing skills of the duo has seen Solo Foods elevated to greater heights. Solo Foods has now developed into a cutting-edge, world class producer, manufacturer and distributor of quality food. All manufacturing takes place in our state of the art, 1600 square metre, food production facility. Solo Foods is located in Kya Sands, Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
Solo Foods started as a mere idea and vision. Through the constant focus and determination of the leadership, this vision has become our reality. However the employees of Solo Foods have been a critical driving force behind the success and growth of the organisation. It is through their dedication, loyalty and immense efforts that each and every one of our 61 workforce form the backbone of our success. It is through their efforts that they have carried us through challenging economic times and have been key to the growth and flourishing of Solo Foods.
